Local Strategic Partnership Health check
It is no secret that to date, relatively few Local Strategic Partnerships (LSP) can yet be described as fully mature, effective partnerships. Yet the health and robustness of the LSP as a partnership is key to success in achieving the LSP's goals.
Our LSP Health Check is a time and resource efficient way to:
- Obtain an independent analysis of your LSP's main developmental needs, as well as its current strengths
- Develop buy-in and understanding from the LSP members about their individual and collective learning and developmental needs, and how these are tied to the effective delivery of the Community Strategy.
- Build momentum towards establishing an ongoing development process as a result of the Health Check.
- Have a deliverable partnership improvement plan in place
The Health Check is a package which can be tailored as required but usually entails :
- Gathering information through interviews and background reading
- Analysis of the information and views gathered, together with the development of early recommendations.
- A participative workshop event, at which members of the LSP have the opportunity to hear the results of the investigative work and discuss the recommendations.
- Following the workshop, a short report is produced, setting out agreements reached in the workshop and identifying the steps that the LSP needs to take in order to improve its performance as a partnership.
