Strategic Planning
Our understanding of public sector policy, process and practice offers practical insights for organisations striving to achieve results in a complex environment. We offer:
- Developing single or multi-agency strategy, to produce something meaningful that is brought to life on the ground, rather than left on the shelf
- Planning detailed processes, from 'What do we need to do next week?' through to 'Where do we want to be on this in two years?'
- Acting as independent facilitators for particularly sensitive meetings, where a neutral third party role is essential
- Mentoring key staff as they tackle strategic planning themselves, providing space to share experience and reflect on learning.
Examples of our work
| Central Cornwall Primary Care Trust | The advent of Children's Trusts and the new health inequalities agenda led to our work exploring how to involve health visitors in the changes to their and others' roles. This culminated with a large participative event for all of the health visitors and their managers. |
| Timebanks UK. | Assisting the organisation undertake a series of meetings to inform future funding and organisational plans. The process brought together hitherto disparate elements of the Timebanks family. |
| Wiltshire Market Towns Partnership | We supported the Wiltshire Market Towns Partnership to review its role and collaboratively develop new aims, processes and structures to support the county’s twenty two local area partnerships. |
South West Climate Change Impacts Partnership |
A multi-agency planning process for producing a communications strategy and considering how to secure implementation of the strategy. |
