Research & policy development
We undertake research and policy development work. Our particular strength is in combining a solid knowledge of public sector policy and legislation, with an experience-based understanding of how things actually happen on the ground.
This experience, together with our process skills, enables us to produce
work that synthesises desk research, insights from our experience, and the
views and knowledge of stakeholders.
We undertake report writing and research work that produces accurate analysis and practical recommendations.
Examples of our work
Association of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Authorities |
The Association commissioned us to investigate and make recommendations
on the capacity building and development needs of Hampshire's Local
Strategic Partnerships. Drawing on original research with stakeholders
from the fourteen relevant LSPs, as well as existing research findings,
our final report was used to guide how the ODPM's capacity building
funding was allocated to those LSPs. |

The South West’s agency for learning and sustainable communities commissioned us to undertake research on applying action learning approaches in the context of Local Strategic Partnerships |
